Film week celebrates 23rd Vietnam Film Festival

To celebrate the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival, a film week will be held in Hanoi and Da Nang City from November 13-19, featuring many film screenings during and on the sidelines of the event.

Accordingly, 28 special films of Vietnamese cinema will be screened for free during the film week at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi and the Da Nang City Cultural and Cinema Centre.

The movie “578 – Phat dan cua ke dien” (578 - The Crazy Man's Bullet) will be screened at the film week.

The 23rd Vietnam Film Festival will be held in Da Lat City in the Central Highland Province of Lam Dong from November 21-25.

The festival will introduce 91 films including 16 feature films, 31 documentaries, 19 science films, and 25 animated films.

A further 56 films were selected for the Panorama Film Programme, including: 14 feature films, 20 documentaries, 4 science films, and 18 animated films.

With the slogan of “Developing the Vietnamese film industry, rich in national identity, modern and humane”, the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival is a cultural and artistic national event to honour cinematic works and artists in film production activities.
