First coffee book street in Central Highlands opened

Updated: 07:44, 10/03/2019
The first coffee book street was opened in Buon Ma Thuot city of the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on March 9.

This is part of the activities of the seventh Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival to promote coffee culture and readership in the “coffee capital” of Vietnam.

Along the street are frescoes about the land, people, culture, and beautiful landscapes of Dak Lak, illustrating the unique features of Central Highlands ethnic groups.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the first coffee book street in Central Highlands.

The street is also a venue for cultural exchanges and fork art activities such as national musical instrument performance and calligraphy.

Earlier on March 8, the province held an art exchange programme with the Republic of Korea’s Jeollabuk province to strengthen solidarity and friendly cooperation between the two localities.

Korean artisans and cooks will join an activity to make 6,000 traditional rice cakes free for visitors.
