Folk Dance and Music competition attracts nearly 400 participants
BAC GIANG - On July 10, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2024 Folk Dance and Music Competition of Bac Giang province. It was attended by Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The event took place at the Provincial Labor Cultural House with the participation of nearly 400 artisans, actors, actresses and art talents from 10 art troupes in districts, township and city in the province.

During 25 to 35 minutes, each team introduced a performance in difference genres of solo, duet, trio, group and group dance among others to praise the Party and President Ho Chi Minh as well as the revolutionary tradition, spirit of solidarity, national pride; the land and people of Bac Giang; creativity in production; achievements of the homeland and the country in the reform period.

Thanks to meticulous practice and thoughtful preparation, the participating teams brought to the competition quality art programs, many unique performances rich in local cultural identity that truly impressed the audience.

The one day competition wrapped up with 21 A prizes, 24 B prizes and 15 C prizes awarded to excellent performances and the entire troupe.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City to organise a ceremony on June 25 to open the 2024 Vietnam Family Festival with the participation of many localities from across the country.
