Hanoi Museum receives more than 800 donated documents, artefacts
At the event, the Hanoi Museum also honoured and acknowledged organisations and individuals for their contributions to the museum.
The donated artefacts are related to the period of the subsidy economy, resistance wars, and socialist building in addition to artefacts related to traditional craft villages, trade villages, and cuisine that demonstrate the development of Hanoi through historical periods.

Kieu Van Quang from Dong Sang hamlet, Duong Lam commune, Hanoi’s Son Tay town donated 13 artefacts to the museum which are household appliances of his family from the 1960s and 1970s such as a bronze betel-tray and anareca-nut cutting knife bought by his mother from the local market.
To meet the demand of the showcase at the museum, the Hanoi Museum has called on individuals and organisations to continue to donate documents and artefacts to the museum.
Director of Hanoi Museum Nguyen Tien Da expressed his appreciation for the donators, affirming that the museum will preserve and promote their values for future generations.
