Ho Chi Minh City Book Street to reopen for visitors on October 9
In the initial phase, the book street will be open from 9AM to 5PM every day.
All staff members at book stalls must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K message comprising khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations).

The site’s managing board has adopted strict measures to ensure social distancing rules, setting up checkpoints at the entrance and exit gates of the street.
Only visitors with Covid-19 green cards, which feature holders’ information regarding vaccination, Covid-19 testing and health declaration status, are permitted to enter the book street. They are also requested to have a body temperature check and disinfect their hands at the entrance gate.
* Several business activities and services in Dong Nai province are scheduled to reopen on October 9, according to a draft plan of the provincial People’s Committee.
Accordingly, sports activities gathering no more than 10 people will resume while mechanics, electronics, groceries, stores for stationery, and hair salons are allowed to open for customers with numbers of up to no more than 50% of their capacity.
