(BGO) – After focusing on investment, the first phase of silicon wafer production and solar cell installation project of Chinese based JA Solar Group (in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) has basically been completed.

It is expected to bring back the yearly production value of some 10 trillion VND (over 429 million USD) in the northern province of Bac Giang in stable operation.

The project has a total registered capital of 280 million USD (over 6.2 trillion VND) and covers 18 hectares. It is one of the biggest foreign direct invested (FDI) projects in the province.
Its designed capacity reaches 1,500 MW per year that produces 600MW of monocrystalline silicon rods, 900 MW of polycrystalline silicon chunks as well as 1,500MW of monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon wafers on a yearly basis.
The contractor completed the first phase and started the test run for individual parts and sections. So far, the project has employed 700 laborers and had a high recruitment demand. All products made in this plant will be exported, thus bringing an estimated value of 1 trillion VND (about 43 million USD) per month.
Bac Giang ranks sixth nationwide in FDI attraction

licenses and additionally registered of investment capital to 118 projects (89 are
new projects and the remaining are capital supplemented ones) with a total
attracted capital of 312.12 million USD since the beginning of this year.

Investment reported.
FDI enterprises’ production values hit over 126 trillion VND
(BGO) – The recent statistic from the Department of Planning and Investment has shown that the industrial production value in the northern province of Bac Giang hit nearly 160 trillion VND (over 6.8 billion USD) in 2018, exceeding 10.6 percent of the yearly target.
