Yokoi Mold Vietnam is a wholly Japanese-invested enterprise and one of the first projects of Japanese investors in Bac Giang. The company has two factories producing molds and plastic parts for motorbike and car manufacturers in the Dinh Tram Industrial Park (Viet Yen district).

In the 2000s, many Vietnamese interns went to Japan to work at the company owned by Yokoi Sanji. After a prescribed period of time (usually 3 years), returning home, these workers, especially those in rural areas, had very few opportunities to get the jobs they used to do in Japan.
Knowing this information, Yokoi Sanji regretted and always pondered. He went to Vietnam to explore the investment environment and established Yokoi Mold Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Bac Giang province to recruit Vietnamese workers who had worked in Japan.
After 15 years of operation, 154 employees at the company are all Vietnamese. The company also opened the YMV Foreign Language Center specializing in training Japanese language for workers and interns working in Japan. Currently, the average income of its workers is approximately 11 million VND (452 USD) per person per month.
When coming to the company, everyone will see the word "Hoa" (harmony) hung in its offices and factories. This is the company's operating motto, demonstrating the connection between people and people. The company cares for not only employees but also their families.
Following its operating motto, in 2018, on the occasion of its 10th founding anniversary, Yokoi Mold Vietnam financed the construction of a two-storey building with eight classrooms worth nearly 2 billion VND (82,320 USD) and provided learning equipment for teachers and students of Yen The district’s Dong Son Secondary School on the first days of the new academic year.
In early 2023, the school continued to receive more attention and sharing from the firm when three orphan students in difficult circumstances were presented with scholarships, 3 million VND (123.5 USD) per month, until they turned 18 years old.
From 2023, the company sponsors education through the establishment of the "YMV Youth Scholarship Support Fund", targeting orphans and children in difficult family circumstances in Bac Giang province.
This is a project of special significance, marking the 15th anniversary of its establishment and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam.

Through the schools, eight students have received grants from the company's fund and the number of students receiving scholarships will continue to increase in the following school years.
As a member of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association, Yokoi Mold Vietnam not only stabilizes production and improves workers' lives but is also a bright spot in community activities, participating in many programs and projects, serving as a bridge of friendship between the two countries.
Since 2015, the company has coordinated with the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association’s chapter in Chukyo region to bring thousands of cherry blossom trees from Japan to grow in Bac Giang province.
In 2020, Yokoi Mold Vietnam helped the Bac Giang provincial Youth Union get more than 1.6 billion VND (65,860 USD) in funding from the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam to build Ben Mong bridge from Tho Son village to Choi 1 and Choi 2 villages in Luc Son commune, Luc Nam district.
