"Lang Giang Pineapple" brand announced
BAC GIANG - On July 25, the People's Committee of Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province) coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology, the Center for Rural Development (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) to announce and grant the right to use the certification brand "Lang Giang Pineapple".
According to the People's Committee of Lang Giang district, the whole district currently has 25 products meeting standards of One Commune One Product programme (OCOP). Many products have built brands and trademarks, including pineapple products.

The district grows more than 200 hectares of pineapples in the communes of Huong Son, Huong Lac, Tan Thanh, Tien Luc... with an estimated output of 750 tonnes per year.

The product is well known to many customers for its quality, delicious and attractive flavor. The district is investing in building a pineapple growing area that meets VietGAP standards in Huong Son commune with an area of about 10 hectares.

To ensure the rights, increase efficiency and value for pineapple producers, Lang Giang District People's Committee has registered to protect the certification brand "Lang Giang Pineapple" and been granted a trademark registration certificate No. 489904 by the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology) in Decision No. 51579/QD-SHTT.

BAC GIANG – Various products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) are under display at an ongoing event held in the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Son Tay town (Hanoi City) from July 4 to 8. The event also introduce the culture of the Red River Delta provinces. Bac Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development displays a booth to introduce the typical OCOP products.
BAC GIANG - The online technology and equipment trading platform in Bac Giang province (www.batex.vn) is operating effectively. This is a tool for members to introduce, buy and sell technology, equipment and other products.
BAC GIANG - Luc Ngan lychee of the Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Services Cooperative in Luc Ngan district has been recognised as a 5-star One Commune One Product (OCOP) item at national level, becoming the first and only product in the province obtaining this status.
BAC GIANG - "Luc Ngan lychee" product of Hong Xuan Production and General Service Trading Cooperative (Cooperative) in Hong Giang commune, Luc Ngan district is one of 4 products that have just been rated 5-star standards under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) by the Central Council for evaluating and classifying OCOP products (Council) in 2024 on June 25.
