Accordingly, 15 cooperatives joined the Linkage Group with a total of nearly 500 members who are members of cooperatives and workers in the field of rice noodle production in Thu Duong village.

Its purpose is to create an environment and opportunities for cooperatives and members to interact and exchange experiences in production, preservation, processing and consumption of products; support each other in capital and application of science and technology; link production to create large and quality raw materials to meet domestic and foreign market requirements.

Chu noodles in Thu Duong craft village are local staples. Since 2020, 18 Chu rice noodle products of cooperatives in Thu Duong village have been recognized as products under One Commune One Product programme with 3 stars or higher.

In 2023, Chu noodle production reached more than 12,000 tonnes. This year, the village estimates to produce more than 13,000 tonnes of noodles with total profit of about 50 billion VND (2.1 million USD).

Also, the noodle making craft creates jobs for hundreds of local workers with an average salary of 8-9 million VND per person per month.
