Luxury cruise ship berths in Hue with European tourists

French luxury ship Le Laperouse arrived in Hue on Monday with 106 European tourists, marking the return of international cruise vessels to the central town.
The passengers are mainly from France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden.
They visited the UNESCO heritage site Hue Imperial Citadel and King Minh Mang's tomb and tried the city’s renowned cuisine.

The five-star Le Laperouse Cruise is operated by Ponant Company.
Before arriving in Hue, the ship had visited Con Dao, HCMC, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, and Da Nang.
It left Indonesia on September 20 after passing through Singapore before arriving in Vietnam.
Vietnam reopened its borders to foreign tourists in March this year.
It has only received 1.87 million foreign visitors so far or 37 percent of its target for the year.

A food festival themed “Glorifying the past, shaping the future” has attracted a large number of visitors as part of the Hue Festival 2022.

occasion, the number of visitors to Suoi Mo Eco Tourism site sharply increased
to about 2,000 tourist arrivals on weekend, many of whom came from Bac Ninh,
Hanoi, Quang Ninh and others, reported the Site Management Board.
(BGO) - The mud ball wrestling festival is
held in Yen Vien village, Van Ha commune (Viet Yen district, Bac Giang
province) on the 12th, 13th and 14th days of the fourth lunar month (May 12, 13
and 14) featuring many unique events. With special identities, it has been
recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of
Culture, Sports and Tourism.

condition, long holiday, good disease control together with due attention to
investment in tourism development in Bac Giang province, local destinations
attracted numerous visitors on the National Reunification Holiday and May Day.
