Linh’s father, Ly Cong Minh, teacher at the provincial ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School said the little girl loved Maths and won gold medal at National Online Maths Contest since early grade. At her secondary school, Khanh Linh was given free admision to the high quality class in the city to study at Ngo Si Lien Secondary School then Le Quy Don Secondary School to get more chance to promote her talents in new subjects.

English teacher Ngo Mai Phuong who is in charge of Linh’s class shared it is really hard and pressure to study in the selected groups because it requires the strong health and consecutive efforts from the students. While other friends normally participated in one subject at the contest for excellent students, Khanh Linh was assigned by teachers to join 3 subjects and won prizes at all.

Particularly, in her seventh grade, Linh won 4 prizes including first prize in English, second prize in Literature and Informatics at municipal level contest and consolidation prize in Informatics at provincial level contest. Linh also won 3 prizes at 8 grade.

The recent first prize in English is a deserve result for the smart student with great effort. During the the temporarily close time of the school to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic, she kept studying everyday at online class fostered by teacher Ngo Mai Phuong and Trinh Thi Thanh Huyen as well as searched more reference documents for self study.

With the internet computer, Khanh Linh can sit for hours to search books, documents and newspapers in English to deeply understand about the hot social issues. Thus, her writing and presentation are always attractive thanks to new information.

Sharing about her studying experience, Ly Khanh Linh modestly said mostly she spent time on self studying and studying at the school while actively sharing with teachers about her limitation to get support.

There are many reference documents for various subjects of English, Maths, Physics, Informatics…at her study corner at home in Nguyen Hong street, Ngo Quyen ward (Bac Giang city).

Right after winning first prize at the provincial contest for excellent student, she continued to join the 23rd provincial youth Informatics Competition in 2020.

Beside, she loves the art, acts as the vice monitor of study at class 9A3 and actively participates in movements.

With the above mentioned achievement, Ly Khanh Linh is one of 99 representatives honored by the Bac Giang municipal Young Pioneer Council in the period 2015 – 2020 and one of 15 local representatives to join the provincial meeting to honor the Good Children of Uncle Ho to be held in July 2020.
