3 students at Bac Giang Ngo Gia Tu College granted with German scholarships

(BGO) – The Ministry of Education and Training (Vietnam) has coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology at  Hessen State, WUS International University Support (Germany) to grant the scholarships to 93 students studying at the universities and colleges across Vietnam, each worth over 5 million VND (215 USD) at the Temple of Literature (Hanoi).

Bac Giang province has 3 students at Bac Giang Ngo Gia Tu College, namely Pham Thi Thu Thuong, Secretary of the Youth Union in AK37 Primary Class; Ly Thi Phuong in Kindergarten Education, Faculty of Primary and Kindergarten Education; Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc in K37 Literature Class, Faculty of Secondary.

The three students have good academic result with active contribution to the volunteer activities for community and youth union.

Thu Thuong was born in Luc Ngan. She is now Secretary of the Youth Union, member of the Executive Board of the Youth Union in the college. Thuong always actively joins the blood volunteer campaign, youth summer volunteer, volunteer Saturday, Green Sunday…while taking her knowledge and profession to erect the tool, kid toys at several schools in Tan Yen district.

Bich Ngoc was born and grown up in Son Dong district, a specially difficult locality in the northern province of Bac Giang. She has taken great efforts to study and participate in various youth movements launched by the Youth Union and Association of Students at the college.

Ly Thi Phuong (Son Dong district) has special passion for teaching career since she studied at the high school. Then, she registered to study at Bac Giang Ngo Gia Tu College. Now, the she is an active member of the school Club of voluntary blood donation.

The Scholarship Programme to support Vietnam Education and Training launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology at Hessen State, WUS International University Support (Germany) has operated for 30 years to support 350 students per years (rising from 160 persons).

Also, it helps support Vietnam research students to make graduation thesis or conduct research topic at ministerial and state levels in German.

The scholarship prioritises the difficult students with excellent academic result, active participation and outstanding contribution to social and volunteer activities.
