In August 2018, Trang was sponsored a full scholarship of 4 years by Innopolis University which is within top 20 prestigious university in Russia specialized at information technology and computer training.

On the first days in the land of the Birch-tree, the biggest challenges to Trang were the cultural difference and serious homesick. She found no difficulty in the class because the international professors and students communicate and exchange in English, but in normal life she must ask for the support from Google and friends to talk to the Russian.

Now, Trang has many new international friends; feel the friendly and righteous character of the local residents as well as knowing the unique cultural identities and traditional custom of the country.

Sharing about the studying environment in Russia, Trang said the students spend most of time on self study and research. The relationship between the professor, assistant and students are comfortable basing on self respect principle. Every one feels free to ask the question and discuss to find out the root of the concerned issues.

Regarding the secret to earn scholarship, Trang advised young students to actively build the serious study plan, select the interested field and university. Together with a “good” profile (indicated via gained academic result, participated social activities, self introduction), the universities pay special attention to English communication skill and confidence in interview.

From Russia, Trang always misses the homeland, teachers and friends in Bac Giang.
