– The Fund for Protection of Children’s Rights (FPCR) in Bac Giang province has
recently handed over two houses to the families of Nguyen Thi Hong (born in
2008) in Man village, An Lap commune and Ha Thi Huong Tra (born in 2005) in
Dong Phe village, An Chau commune (Son Dong district).
The event was attended by Dao Xuan Can, former Member of the Central Party Committee, former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial Study Encouragement Association, leaders of the Son Dong district Party Committee and kind-hearted people.

Nguyen Thi Hong and Ha Thi Huong Tra live in specially difficult circumstances under severely damaged houses. The provincial FPCR called for donation from collectives, enterprises and philanthropists to build new houses to their families.

The 80 square meter house of Hong’s family was built with total expense of over 230 million VND (9,900 USD) (including over 100 million VND donated by the kind-hearted people) while the 40 square meter house of Tra’s family was built with total cost of 140 million VND (over 6,000 USD) (including nearly 100 million VND donated by the philanthropists), the remaining amount was mobilized by the families and relatives.
Promoting values of thousand year old tree, communal house and pagoda relic complex in Tien Luc commune
(BGO)- Vice Chairman of the provincial people’s
committee of Bac Giang province Le Anh Duong had a meeting with the people’s
committee of Lang Giang district on 15 October about organizing activities
towards 2020 Culture and Tourism Week in the district and preserving and
promoting values of the relic complex of the
thousand –year - old Da huong tree (camphor tree) enclosed with the communal
house and pagoda in Tien Luc commune.
OCOP fair to house over 100 stalls in Hanoi
The “One Commune, One Product” fair will take place in Hanoi on October 10 – 13 with over 100 stalls on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the capital (October 10) and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).
Visiting Tich Thien Duong, a 200-year-old house in Da Nang
Located in Thai Lai hamlet, Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district, the 200-year-old Tich Thien Duong is the only remaining ancient house left in Da Nang city, in which traditional Vietnamese ancient architecture is still kept intact.
