Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thi Ha awards certificate of merit of the General Department of Taxation to 45 one-member Co., Ltd in Son Dong district for their outstanding achievements in fulfilling tax liability.

Increase in state budget revenue

Bac Giang Garment Corporation (BGC) at Dinh Ke ward, Bac Giang city, one of the outstanding firms gaining dramatically increased turnover and paying high tax rate, has been praised by the provincial Department of Taxation (DoT) for their proper fulfillment of tax liability for consecutive years. So far, this firm has invested tens of billions VND (some 430,000 USD) to import a number of automatic sewing machines from Japan to gradually replace the traditional machinery.

Nguyen Huu Phai, BGC’s General Director said, “This kind of machine not only helps to create uniform products with good quality but also multiplies the productivity manyfold”. 

As of 2017, the firm exported some 1.8 million products earning the turnover of 1,500 billion VND (64.3 million USD), up 10% compared to the previous year and creating jobs for 4,000 laborers. The company contributed some 40 billion VND (1.7 million USD) to the state budget in 2017 becoming one of the companies paying the highest tax in the province.

Besides, Si Flex Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau industrial park, Viet Yen district specializing in manufacturing cell phone circuit boards greatly invested in modern machinery for production. It gains high annual revenue while obeying tax declaration and payment without any tax debts.

They contributed more than 34 billion VND (1.5 million USD) to the state budget in 2017, increase by 10 billion VND (430,000 USD) compared to the previous year. Thus, they were awarded by the Department of Taxation. Since early 2018, the company has paid some 20 billion VND (860,000 USD) of tax. It is estimated to add about 16 to 18 billion VND (686,000 USD to 772,000 USD) to the state budget by the end of this year.

Apart from these two companies, a number of firms were honored for their good implementation of tax policies in 2017. For instance, 45 one-member Co., Ltd in Son Dong district paid a tax of more than 171 billion VND (7.3 million USD), up by 40 billion VND (1.7 million USD) compared to the previous year. Shinsung Vina Ltd., Co in Song Khe- Noi Hoang industrial park paid a tax of about 29 billion VND (1.2 million USD).

Nichirin Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau industrial park, Viet Yen district is awarded by the provincial Department of Taxation for their good implementation of tax policies.

According to Le Huu Nam, DoT’s Deputy Director, among 5,400 enterprises and cooperatives and some 200,000 household businesses and individuals covering tax liabilities, the taxation sector honored 144 outstanding firms and individuals for their good fulfillment of tax liabilities in 2017. Many of them had been awarded for continuous years.

Facilitating taxpayers

According to Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee at the conference honoring outstanding firms and individuals in tax payment, the provincial gross domestic income reached approx. 5,400 billion VND (231.6 million USD) in 2017, exceeding the plan and up 26% compared to the same period of the previous year. This dramatic result was contributed by great efforts of firms and businesspersons, especially who well-performed tax liability.

The taxation sector always pays attention to, accompanies and facilitates the organizations and individuals in fulfilling tax liability. Particularly, DoT guided taxpayers to use eTax payment and declaration instead of the old system. With its excellent functions, this service divides levels of responsibilities among members of the company while taxpayers can search for tax profiles and obligations.

Nam Anh Khanh Co., Ltd in Lang Giang district is awarded certificate of merit by the General Department of Taxation for outstanding achievements in fulfilling tax liability.

According to Ha Ba Manh, Dap Cau Garment., JSC at Kien Thanh commune, Luc Ngan district, with eTax service, the company can supervise and search for information of their tax rates and debts to timely fulfill their tax obligation avoiding late payment.

In order to reduce the time for tax payment procedures, DoT issued online tax code. To date, more than 95% of enterprises in the province implemented e-tax payment.

In line with the above solutions targeting at 6,400 billion VND (274.5 million USD) to state revenue, DoT continues paying attention to administrative procedure reform while organizing the monthly program themed “online talks with taxpayers” on their website. In addition, outstanding firms and businesspersons in fulfilling tax liabilities are honored annually to encourage them in production and trade to increase turnovers and make a positive contribution to the state budget.

Bac Giang honors 114 good taxpayers

(BGO) – The Department of Tax (DoT) in the northern province of Bac Giang on August 8 held a meeting to honor 144 outstanding organizations and individuals as good taxpayers who fully satisfied their tax obligations in 2017 with Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee in attendance.

 

Vietnam’s 1,000 biggest taxpayers announced

The 1,000 biggest taxpayers in Vietnam in 2017 contributed more than 110 trillion VND (4.72 billion USD) to the State budget, increasing 8.45 percent from the previous year, and accounting for 63 percent of total tax contributions.
