Though Suoi Mo Ecotourism Site in Luc Nam district was recognized long time ago, the management board only collects the entrance fee of 30,000 VND (1.28 USD) per time and the parking fee. There are a few of small restaurants, food and beverage stores near the site which were invested by local residents.

Similarly, there lack entertainment and experimental services in Vinh Nghiem pagoda (Yen Dung district), Bo Da pagoda (Yen Dung district) and Xuong Giang Victory National Special Relic Site (Bac Giang city).
Actual demand for shopping and leisure activities remains high at the tourist attraction. During recent five day holiday, the provincial destinations welcomed thousands of visitors near and far. However, local services could not meet the tourists’ requirement, even at tourism complexes with huge investment.
Due to service shortage at the tourism sites, most of visitor enjoyed one day tour with low spending. Bac Giang province has more than 400 facilities providing tourism accommodation service and 13 recognized tourism sites and complexes. In 2022, the local tourism revenue hit about 650 billion VND (27.7 million USD).
According to the provincial Party Committee’s Resolution No.112-NQ/TU about tourism development in 2021 - 2025 period with the vision till 2030, the province targets to lure 3 million tourism arrivals by 2025 with total tourism revenue of 3 trillion VND and 6,000 labours.
The Resolution also defined to build 4 major tourism products in the province, including spiritual - cultural tourism, resort – ecotourism; leisure, entertainment and sport (golf) tourism; community based tourism in association with fruit area, traditional craft village, agricultural and rural products as well as heritage recognized by UNESCO.
To realize the set targets, local party, authority and relevant sectors must exert high determination and effort to join hands with the tourism development agencies in the districts, city, tourism company and people. One of the key solutions is the planning work with preferential policies and mechanism for tourism development. It acts as basic factor as the foundation for the business, cooperative, organization and individual to invest in facilities and service infrastructure.
Some experts said the travel agencies can take self renovation to create more attraction and lure higher revenue from services while waiting for potential investors.

According to Assoc. Dr. Bui Thanh Thuy from Hanoi University of Culture - an expert in the field of tourism, Bac Giang should support capital and technology transfer to encourage local people to directly participate in investment and operation of accommodation facilities, restaurant, sightseeing services and tour to learn about the cultural traditions and life of the indigenous people.
Besides, the province needs to have signature policies for each site and complex to lure more investment to the tourism sector together with mechanism to recover and develop traditional careers.
Vice Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism Do Tuan Khoa said the Department continues cooperating with relevant organizations to consult the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee to issue suitable policies and mechanisms which create best possible facilitation to lure investors and suppliers of tourism services.
