More than 400 tonnes of rice supplied for poor people in Yen Bai

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc decided to provide 404 tonnes of rice from national reserves for the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai during this year’s between-crop period.

The PM assigned the Finance Ministry to be in charge of the supply while directing the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to take responsibility for the accuracy of report contents and data.

The provincial People’s Committee was requested to use the rice for the right purposes and people.

Vietnam sees rice export opportunity in Egypt

Vietnamese enterprises see a chance to export 20,000 tonnes of rice to Egypt, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Import-Export Department.
