Two large mural paintings, featuring lotus flower ponds, were inaugurated at Terminal 2 at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on January 3.

The paintings feature lotus ponds with the light of a sunset and white lotus flowers, creating a romantic and soft color tone.

They are expected to beautify the landscape and environment of Noi Bai International Airport, thus becoming a relaxed and peaceful corner at Terminal 2.

The paintings also contribute to honoring the lotus - Vietnam Airlines’ logo and the country’s national flower.

Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Director of Noi Bai International Airport, said that the artwork was one of the activities to improve the quality of service, towards satisfying passengers.

The artwork won the bronze medal at the 10th International Design Awards.
