National Cup Pool - Snooker Championship VBSF 2024 kicks off in Bac Giang
BAC GIANG - The Vietnam Billiards and Snooker Federation (VBSF) on October 19 coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang to open the National Cup Pool - Snooker Championship, VBSF 2024 at the Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium.
The Championship takes place from October 18 – 25 and it is the first time Bac Giang has hosted this tournament.

The tournament attracted 300 players from 8 provinces and cities of Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Da Nang, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Binh Duong, Nghe An and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
They competed in 5 categories: Men's 9-ball Pool, Men's 10-ball Pool, Women's 9-ball Pool, Men's 6-red Snooker and Men's English Billiards.

Although it is not a key sport of Bac Giang province, to promote the pool - snooker movement, at the tournament, Bac Giang delegation had 114 players participating in all events, with prominent faces like Kieu Tuyet Nhung, Hoang Van Thu, Tran Tuan Anh, Huynh Van Nang and Nguyen Tra My...
This tournament is within the national competition system of VBSF and organized to introduce and popularize this sport. Through the competition, it aims to discover and select talented faces to participate in international pool - snooker tournaments.
