National Paragliding Club Championship opens in Da Nang

The First National Paragliding Club Championship (2020) opened in the central city of Da Nang on July 18.
Held by the Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports, the tournament attracted 110 paragliders from 10 clubs across the country. They will compete individually and in teams.

According to the organisers, the tournament aims to assess the paragliding skills of domestic athletes, and thus prepare for regional and international events, while promoting the sport in Vietnam.
The race will last till July 19.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has pushed the 6th edition of Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF VI) to 2022.
The “Da Nang Fantastic Festival 2020” will be held from July 30 to August 5, featuring many attractive activities to promote tourism in the central city.
The second Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival will be held from October 29-31 in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa.
The first national kite festival was held in the northern province of Nam Dinh on July 5, attracting the participation of nearly 60 kite clubs from 40 cities and provinces nationwide.
A host of activities are scheduled during the 2020 Vietnam Family Festival to be held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi from June 26-28.
