The provincial FFC called for a donation of some 1.8 billion VND (over 77,000 USD) while the FFCs in the districts and city raised about 7 billion VND (about 300,000 USD), typically Viet Yen district with 1.58 billion VND (over 67,000 USD), Lang Giang with 1.01 billion VND (over 43,000 USD), Bac Giang city with 950 million VND (40,700 USD) among others.

The positive donors included Bac Giang Garment Joint Stock Company (400 million VND or over 17,000 USD), provincial Public Security (180 million VND or 7,700 USD), Fuhong Precision Company Limited in Van Trung Industrial Park (100 million VND or over 4,200 USD), Bac Giang Telecommunication Company (57 million VND or over 2,400 USD), Tuan Mai Trading Joint Stock Company (50 million VND or 2,100 USD), Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizer & Chemicals Joint Stock Company (30 million VND or over 1,200 USD), Bac Giang Power Company (30 million VND); Trade Union of the provincial General Hospital (30 million VND); provincial Post Office (20 million VND) among others.

Action Month for the Poor 2018 launched in Bac Giang

(BGO) – The Fatherland Front’s Standing Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang on October 5 held a meeting to conclude the execution of Action Month for the Poor in 2017 and the social security programme in 2018 as well as launch the plan of Action Month for the Poor 2018.

(BGO) – The Fatherland Front’s Committee in Bac Giang city on October 9 launched the Action Month for the Poor, lasting from October 17 to November 18 when all organizations, agencies and enterprises are appealed to join hand to help the poor and families with special difficult circumstances to improve their living standard.

 

Action month to call for joint efforts to support the poor

An action month calling for the joint efforts of the entire country to support the poor will be launched in Hanoi, on October 10, by the Vietnam Father Front's Central Committee.

 

Miss Ngoc Han joins Bac Giang’s youth in walking for the poor

(BGO) – The Secretary Board of Youth Federation’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang cooperated with the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Youth Union) to hold a walk event of “Youth for the community” on the morning of October 14 to call for donation to the youth and teenagers with special difficult circumstances in response to Action Month for the Poor in 2018. 

 

VK Tech holds Vietnam – Korea culture exchange and presents scholarship to poor students

(BGO) – A culture exchange event has recently taken place at Vietnam Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) in the northern province of Bac Giang between the local College and Korean DeaJin University.
