This is the 16th year this event has been held since the Prime Minister decided to establish the committee in 2008. To date, 1,600 donors have been honoured at the national level.

Since 2006, Phong has donated blood 31 times, including 26 times of blood donation and 5 times of platelet donation.

As the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hong Thai ward, Phong actively calls on family member, local youth and residents to join the voluntary blood donation campaign.

Every year, Hong Thai ward Youth Union has 40 members donating blood, helping the locality passes or exceeds the blood donation target.

Blood and hair donation festival at Ha Phong Export Garment Export JSC

Bac Giang exceeds 70 percent of blood donation target in 2023

BAC GIANG - In 2023, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) in Bac Giang province has coordinated with organizations, agencies, units and schools in the province to organize 36 Blood Donation Festivals, attracting more than 21,000 participants and receiving more than 27,000 units of safe blood (nearly 4,800 units higher than in 2022), reaching 170 percent of the plan assigned by the Center.

Nearly 700 people in Bac Giang city donate blood voluntarily
