At the event, the blood donors received free health check-ups, health consultations and blood tests. As a result, the Organizing Committee screened and received 590 safe blood units. All of the above blood was transferred to Vietnam - German Hospital for emergency and patient treatment.

Thus, through 3 VBD festivals, Bac Giang city received 2,110 units of safe blood, reaching 156 percent of the year plan.

4,560 blood units donated at Red Journey Programme

(BGO) - After 2 months launching the 2023 Red Journey blood donation programme (from 1 June to 31 July), Bac Giang province has organized 4 voluntary blood donation festivals attracting nearly 3,500 participants. The campaign has received 4,560 safe blood units, meeting the criteria of the Ministry of Health and exceeding 52 percent against the plan (3,000 units).
