Over 108,000 clients get policy credit capital loan

(BGO) – So far, Bac Giang province has mobilized total social policy credit capital over 5,779 billion VND (243.8 million USD), up over 363 billion VND year on year, reported the Bac Giang branch of Social Policy Bank (SPB).   

From the mobilized capital, the SPB disbursed 5,766 billion VND to more than 108,000 clients as the loan, surging over 361 billion VND against last year figure and reaching 53 million VND per person on average.

The policy credit capital is offered to poor households, near poor families or those newly escaping from the poverty, living in special difficul areas as the loan for production, business; customers on demand of capital for job settlement and purchase of social house among others.

This year, Bac Giang branch of SPB started to reduce 2 percent of loan interest for credit programme with interest over 6 percent from January 1, 2022 till the end of December 31, 2023.

To ease the clients, the bank stably operates 209 transaction points in the communes, wards and towns and well promotes the role of more than 3,100 savings groups for capital loan.
