Over 3,000 seniors join largest Qi Gong, Yoga demonstration in Vietnam

More than 3,000 senior Yogis gathered at a Qi Gong and Yoga mass demonstration on Le Loi Street in District 1, downtown Ho Chi Minh City, on October 2 morning.
They are members of Qi Gong exercise clubs for seniors from across the southern city.

The event was part of a series of events in response to this ongoing Action Month for the Elderly.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Elderly Huynh Thanh Lap said it aimed to encourage senior citizens to exercise and live a fruitful life.
The event was recognised by the Vietnam Records Organisation (VietKings) as the largest Qi Gong and Yoga mass performance ever held in Vietnam on the occasion.
Six pilots will raise the Vietnamese national flag high when participating in the Paragliding World Cup in the Republic of Korea from October 1 to 8.
Vietnam crushed the Republic of Korea (RoK) 5-1 at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2022 in Kuwait on September 28.
The recent victories against Singapore and India have promoted Vietnam to the 96th position in the FIFA rankings, the 17th position in Asia and the first in Southeast Asia, according to website football-ranking.com.
Vietnam beat India 3-0 in Thong Nhat stadium, Ho Chi Minh City on September 27, and won the International Friendlies 2022 with two consecutive wins.
Nguyen Quang Hai, one of Vietnam's top midfielders, is confident of adapting to the new environment at French club Pau FC after an unsuccessful period there.
