Over 52.1 billion VND supported to install technology waste incinerator

(BGO) – Implementing Resolution No.06 on September 7, 2020 of the provincial People’s Council about the state budget’s support to invest in waste incinerator and living waste disposal in Bac Giang province in the period 2020 – 2025, this year the province plans to install 25 technology waste incinerators.

These incinerators will be installed at the districts of Luc Nam, Tan Yen, Yen The, Lang Giang, Luc Ngan, Hiep Hoa and Son Dong.

The living waste incinerator is installed at Ho Dap commune (Luc Ngan district).

The Department of Planning and Investment has arranged over 52.1 billion VND (2.28 million USD) from the provincial budget to support the erection cost, which covers 70 percent of the incinerator value in Son Dong, Luc Ngan and Yen The districts as well as 50 percent of the erection cost in Yen Dung, Tan Yen, Lang Giang, Hiep Hoa, Luc Nam and Viet Yen districts. The districts are in charge of the remaining amount.

To date, one incinerator has been installed at Ho Dap commune (Luc Ngan district), one in Bo Ha commune (Yen The district).

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has urged the other localities to speed up the installation progress in September and October.
