The ambassadors in European countries and several European companies provided information about the operation of the enterprises as well as reflection about the policies and mechanism in investment to Vietnam and provincies in the upcoming time.

The provincial leader took the occasion to introduce about the local socio-economic situation. He pressed that the European Union is a strategic investment attraction partner of the province in several advantage fields of industry, high technology agriculture, automobile and spare part manufacturing, wood processing, farm produce intensive processing; high qualification human resource training; increasing the export turnover of textile and garment products, farm produce, fine art and handicraft products of the province to EU market.

Also, he committed the province is safe and successful destination for European companies via various solution under implementation in the province such as strongly improving the provincial competitiveness index especially administrative procedure reform toward more convenient, transparent and suitably to international practice; sufficiently applying the highest investment preferential policies under national agreement; offering certain incentive policies and mechanisms in the province to support the investment, particularly in approaching to land and procedure of investment and construction.

Moreover, the local authority has completed and developed the traffic system, industrial and social infrastructures at the provincial industrial parks and clusters; completed national database and information about investment with integration to other fields of labour, land, taxation, custom, credit, foreign exchange….; comprehensively and widely implemented e-government and digital economy to organizations, agencies and businesses in the province.

The province also enhances the quality of human resource training so as to supply high qualified man power to the firms; assists local companies to apply modern quality management control system in line with EU standard with priority taken to commodity to be exported to EU market.

Bac Giang now applies synchronous disease preventive measures, especially in the businesses at the industrial parks and clusters to maintain safe production, flexibly respond to requirement for disease prevention and control without suspending and breaking the supply chain.

Bac Giang attracts nearly 1.1 billion USD of investment

(BGO) – Till the middle of November, Bac Giang province attracted 1,093.45 million USD of investment capital, representing 88.36 percent year on year (excluding the urban area and housing projects).
