PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai visits robot production line at Seojin Vietnam Company Limited.

Officially operated since 2020, the company has employed nearly 2,300 labours and 50 foreign experts. Due to impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the business is lack of experienced and skilled workers as well as engineers. Besides, it has great demand of power to serve the production expansion.

Speaking at the event, PPC Secretary praised and highly evaluated Seojin’s investment, business and production results while pressing that the provincial leaders, local departments, sectors and localities always create the most favourable condition for their operation.

Secretary Thai urged the business to continue well implementing disease preventive measures in order to maintain and accelerate the production. Amid the complicated development of Covid-19, the company should apply methods to restrict the foreign labours and experts from moving to pandemic hit areas while encouraging them to stay in Bac Giang province to ensure safety and avoid any impact on operation.

He suggested the enterprise to well care for the life of labours, sufficiently implement the policies about salary, labour safety, insurance...as the effective method to keep labours, stabilize production, enhance working productivity and efficiency.

The departments and sectors were ordered to collaborate with the business to timely handle difficulties in term of man power and electricity for production.

Besides, the working delegation inspected the Social Housing Project for Worker in Noi Hoang commune invested by Consortium Fuji Co.,Ltd and Vinaco Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company.

It covers about 5.8 ha with 10 blocks of building and 2,462 rooms. To date, three blocks of six storey buildings have been completed, six blocks of 18 storey buildings are under construction. As schedule, the whole project will be put in use by April 2022.

After discussion, the PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai acknowledged the investors’ efforts. Because it is a project with social meaning to create stable shelters for workers, he urged the investors to speed up the schedule and cooperate with the Department of Construction to conduct inspection for project acceptance, completion to put in operation.

The provincial leader noted that this project only provides house for Vietnamese workers and labours but foreign labours and experts. It should have management board to ensure proper fuction and security.
