In the cosy and sacred atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, I would like to extend my best regards and New Year wishes to all compatriots, comrades and soldiers nationwide, as well as Vietnamese people abroad. I would also like to send wishes of peace, cooperation, friendship and sustainable development to our friends across the five continents and people around the world!

In the past year, with unity and efforts of the whole Party, people and armed forces, our country has affirmed a new position and stature of a resilient Vietnam amid difficulty, remaining steadfast in pursuing good values for the sake of the people and having recorded important and comprehensive achievements in all fields. Vietnam has always been a sincere friend and reliable partner of countries around the world and has been highly respected and appreciated by the international community.

New Year’s Eve is a profound moment for us to think about the past and the bright future of each person, family and nation. I strongly believe that by promoting the strength of great national unity and fine values of Vietnamese culture and people, extolling virtue and intelligence, opening the creativity in each individual and unlocking the potential and resources, we will create a great endogenous strength for our country to move forward firmly, with even greater achievements.

Spring has awakened numerous dreams, aspirations and the most auspicious, warmest and liveliest beginnings. In the spring of nature and spring of people’s hearts, let’s embrace new sources of energy and send each other sincere beautiful wishes, and let’s wish for the nation to exist through eternity, the country to become wealthier, more beautiful and culturally advanced, and the people’s lives to become happier and more prosperous!
