Provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong receives delegation of Jeollabuk-do, RoK
At the meeting, Chairman Le Anh Duong expressed his great pleasure to welcome the Governor and delegation of Jeollabuk-do province to visit Bac Giang.

According to the Chairman, RoK is the leading investor in Bac Giang with 343 projects and ranks 2nd among 27 countries and territories investing in Bac Giang in terms of total registered capital with about 2.468 billion USD. More than 1,200 Korean people are residing in the province.
The government of Bac Giang province keeps regular contact with the Embassy of RoK in Hanoi and proactively participates in the exchange activities hosted by both countries. Bac Giang people have good affection for the country and people of RoK.

On introducing some signature products of Bac Giang province to the delegation of Jeollabuk-do, the provincial Chairman expected both provinces would have more long term cooperative relations.
Governor Kim Kwan-young thanked the leaders of Bac Giang province for their warm welcome. He informed, Jeollabuk-do province is famous for agricultural projects including the 4 biggest smart farms in RoK. Red ginseng and ginseng are planted in this locality. The Governor hoped these smart farm models will be implemented in Bac Giang in coming time.
“There are 12,000 Vietnamese people living in our province. The province has worked out programmes and projects for the 2nd generation of these people because they will make important contributions to development of the province and RoK and become the bridges between Vietnam and RoK to make both countries get closer especially in culture”, Kim Kwan-young added.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province Le Anh Duong was impressed by agricultural development of Jeollabuk-do as well as their policies to preserve the special cultural values. He stressed, Bac Giang province is very interested in these sectors andexpected Jeollabuk-do province to share their experience. He added, the good-quality ginseng product of Jeollabuk-do will conquer Bac Giang market in the future.
On this occasion, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong gave the delegation a decorative bamboo fan, a well-known handicraft product of Bac Giang, and some special farm products such as yellow-flower tea and Ban Ven green tea.
