The industrial production value in December is reported at some 35.1 trillion VND (1.5 billion USD), up 8.1 percent against the previous month and the total value of 2021 is estimated at more than 300 trillion VND (13 billion USD), an increase of 11.6 percent compared to last year, reaching 88.1 percent of the plan. Regarding disbursement progress of public investment, the disbursement value is recorded at some 7.3 trillion VND (317.4 million USD) as of December 22, 78.3 percent of the annual target.

Concluding the conference, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong stressed, the province needs to pay high attention to the pandemic fight ahead Lunar New Year (or Tet) in which vaccination is an important tool to contain the pandemic.

In preparation for Tet, the sectors, localities and units should pay attention to poor and especially disadvantaged households and policy beneficiaries ensuring all poor households will be given Tet gifts.

Bac Giang city and the districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa are assigned to support the districts of Luc Ngan, Son Dong, Luc Nam and Yen The respectively to care for the poor ahead Tet.

Besides, the provincial leader ordered to boost propaganda on socio-economic development of the province, create happy and cheerful atmosphere ahead Tet and facilitate supply and trading of Tet goods.

Regarding land clearance, chairpersons of people’s committee of the districts and Bac Giang city were urged to drastically direct implementation since the first days of the New Year to create a momentum for successful implementation of the peak plans.
