Bac Giang is honored to be the first locality in the country to have its Provincial Planning approved by the Prime Minister. The planning shapes the development future as well as vision and aspiration of the province.

At the event, delegates said that to achieve this result, besides selecting a quality consulting unit, Bac Giang has promoted the spirit of self-reliance in making the planning.

Concluding the conference, Duong emphasized that Bac Giang has run "at high speed" for the making of the Provincial Planning.The next things to do are to immediately adjust and supplement the plannings, especially of localities that have not yet made regional plannings; to make a general adjustment of urban planning and land use plans. Regarding the publicity of the planning, the Department of Planning and Investment will soon invite a consultant to install planning mapping software and then post the planning map on the portals of province, districts and city for all people to view and look up.

He assigned the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Information and Communications to organize a quiz to learn about the Provincial Planning on an online platform. This is also an effective way to popularize and educate the law.

He noted that in the future, it is necessary to change the mindset to live and work in accordance with the law. The most important are working, managing and implementing according to the planning, and ending the regular adjustment of the planning, thus ensuring its stability and long-term.

“When all the plannings match each other, like we are on the highway, riding on the right lane and in the right direction. Without stopping and without changing lanes, issues related to administrative procedures, publicity and transparency will be solved. Therefore, everything must be done according to the plannings", the provncial leader stated.

He said that Bac Giang needs to learn from experience in making and implementing plannings of some advanced countries, notably preparing reserve land funds to attract investments. Districts and city need to have breakthrough thinking and ways to make breakthroughs in reality.

On this occasion, 50 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in planning work were awarded the certificates of merit by the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.
