At the meeting, Nghiem Xuan Thanh expressed his impression on the achievements in socio-economic development of Bac Giang province in recent years. Hau Giang province hoped to receive experiences shared by Bac Giang province in investment attraction and promotion, building mechanism, policies and the provincial master plan.

In response to these requirements, the provincial leaders of Bac Giang province shared the province’s experiences in related contents. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van Thai stressed, in order for effective FDI attraction, the province has given priority for implementation of 3 main tasks.

The first is completion of the infrastructure system especially traffic infrastructure and power infrastructure because these are premises for the stable and long-term development of enterprises. Besides, it is necessary to pay attention to improving quality of human resources to meet demands of investors. In addition, it is essential to mobilize involvement of the entire political system to remove obstacles and support enterprises.

Regarding implementation of the provincial master plan, the province has publicized the master plan on mass media to inform all people, thereby reaching consensus of the society in implementation process. The related levels, departments and agencies were assigned to review all of the plans to advise proper adjustment and supplementation to the provincial master plan for effective implementation.

Nghiem Xuan Thanh thanked the leaders of Bac Giang province for their sharings and stressed to grasp the experience of Bac Giang province. He informed, Hau Giang province will pay attention to directing the departments and agencies to apply the experience of Bac Giang province in calling for investment and building the provincial master plan based on their potentials, advantages and geographical location. He hoped Bac Giang province will continue to accompany and support Hau Giang province to create breakthroughs in socio-economic development of the province in coming time.
