Provincial leader urges to timely detect enterprises in debt of labors’ salary and social insurance to protect their rights

(BGO) – On July 2, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong chaired a meeting to discuss the solution to protect the labors’ rights in the enterprises which encounter difficulties in production or hire the factory and owe the salary, social insurance and other benefits.

The report from the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs said there are 188 enterprises registering to hire the factory in the province, 163 of which are operating with total labors of nearly 33,700.

As of May 31, Bac Giang had 203 businesses owing social insurance of more than 3,900 labors for over 3 months with a total debt of more than 45 billion VND (1.94 million USD).

At the meeting, representatives focused on analysing and proposing the solutions to handle the difficulties and ensure the rights to the labors such as building coordination procedure between the competent agencies to exchange information, seize the operation condition hence timely solve any arising issue during the production and trading process of the firms.

Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman expressed that the seasonal businesses work unstably, leading to owe the salary and other relating benefits. Even some business leaders run away and left the unsatisfied rights for the labors, causing bad sequences to investment environment and social security.

Therefore, it is necessary to build the mechanism to prevent and early detect the problem with effective handling solution.

He urged the districts and city to firmly grasp the basic information of the local enterprises, regularly update the operation situation, especially the obedience of labor law. The early alarm mechanism should be setup to the businesses with trace of violation while timely reporting to the district People’s Committee and provincial competent agency to have strict supervision.

The trade union should coordinate with the Public Security force to actively propagandise the labors to ensure the public order. The governmental managing agencies and local leaders should raise high the spirit of responsibility, he noted.

Laborers in industrial zones and clusters resume stable work after Tet
(BGO) - Almost all workers at the industrial parks and clusters in the northern province of Bac Giang returned to work on the first day after the week- long Tet holiday. The stable human resources with a high sense of discipline facilitate implementation of the production and business plans of the enterprises in the new year.

(BGO) – On February 11, the Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam paid a visit to encourage the enteprises and laborers in the northern province of Bac Giang after 9-day Lunar New Year holiday. He was accompanied by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Van Linh; Vice PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong and Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu.  
56.7 billion VND spent on Tet bonus to laborers
(BGO) – Ahead of the Lunar New Year festival (Year of the Pig), leaders of Taiwanese invested New Wing Interconnect Technology Company Limited (in Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) mobilized 56.7 billion VND (over 2.4 million USD) to provide Tet bonus to nearly 12,600 laborers.

(BGO) – Implementing the recently issued plan, the Labor Confederation in Bac Giang province instructed trade unions of all levels to launch several activities to ensure 100 percents of the trade union members, workers, officers and laborers cared on Lunar New Year 2019. 
More than 30,000 new jobs created to Bac Giang laborers
(BGO) - According to the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), more than 30,000 laborers have been recruited in the northern province of Bac Giang, up 3.4 percent against the target of 2018.
