Provincial leader works with AIC to build smart city

(BGO) – The Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Duong Van Thai on July 1 worked with Advanced International Joint Stock Company (AIC) about smart city building

According to AIC representative, the model of smart city and management center using artificial intelligence (AI) technology can bring several benefits to support the state management organization, departments, sectors and localities in the province as well as the residents, businesses and investors in all fields of society.

Via few simple operations on cell phone with this application, the residents are able to approach diverse information and utilities to support in the fields of traffic, medical, education and training.

The software application also helps review and submit the reports; instruct, manage and control the smart documentation, working schedule and meeting; receive and answer the residents’ comment; monitor and analyze the news and social network....

At the event, representative of the Department of Information and Communication (DoIC) briefly reported about the actual status of the provincial infrastructure of information and technology (IT) application as well as the demand to build the smart city in the upcoming time.

Highly speaking of the smart city model introduced by AIC, PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai affirmed that it is essential to build smart urban in Bac Giang province in the time to come.

The provincial leader urged AIC to coordinate with the provincial competent agencies to review and assess the actual IT status in the province then deliver the consultation and orientation in implementation to ensure the effectiveness, economy while briefing on total investment and method of investment.

The DoIC should collaborate with the AIC to build the implementation plan and road map then promptly submit to the PPC Chairman for review and approval.

The PPC Chairman said the province will invest to build a supervision center of safety information; reinforce the Steering Board for IT, administrative reform; establish the working group to support the Steering Board and coordinate with AIC to assess the actual IT status in the province to realize this task.
