Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thu Ha visits Truong Sa soldiers’ families

(BGO) - Ahead of the business trip to Truong Sa archipelago of the delegation of Bac Giang province, on 4 April, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Chairwoman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee visited and presented gifts to the soldiers' families. 

They are families of lieutenant Nguyen Duc Duy (born in 1985) at Cam Bao village, Xuan Cam commune, Hiep Hoa district who is Vice Captain No 741 in Truong Sa archipelago and senior lieutenant Nguyen Van Kien (born in 1988) at Phu Mai village, Tu Mai commune, Yen Dung district who is working on Sinh Ton island.

At their visits, the provincial Vice Chairwoman and the working delegation asked about health and living of Lieutenant Duy’s parents (Nguyen Duc Vu and Ngo Thi Thanh) and senior Lieutenant Kien’s parents (Nguyen Van Cuong and Nguyen Nhu Y). Besides, she shared with difficulties facing the soldiers’ families when their sons and daughters working offshore while encouraging them to keep stable production to support the soldiers’ missions.

Representatives of the families thanked the provincial leaders and local government for their due attention and expressed their pride of their sons and daughters serving the course of protecting seas and islands.

The working delegation visits Nguyen Van Tan and Nguyen Thi To’s family at Yen Vien village, Van Ha commune, Viet Yen district.

They asked the working delegation to send their greetings and encouragement to the navy soldiers and their sons, Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Duy and senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Kien. Besides, they expected the soldiers to stand firm as facing difficulties and contribute to protecting national sovereignty.

On the same day, leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Popularization and Education and Military Command visited and gave gifts to Nguyen Van Tan and Nguyen Thi To’s family in Yen Vien village, Van Ha commune, Viet Yen district, parents of lieutenant colonel Nguyen Van Khuong who is working on Nam Yet island.

Currently, Bac Giang is home to 26 military officers and soldiers working in Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 rigs. The delegation of Bac Giang province visiting the soldiers and people in Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 rigs will last 9 days from 10 to 18 April organized by the High Command of Vietnam People's Navy. The delegation is scheduled to visit 8 islands in Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 rigs.
