9th grade students in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi, return to school.

Particularly Hanoi, Binh Duong and Dong Nai have planned to bring students back to school but have not set a specific time. Immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday, there will be a plan to check the preparation and organisation for students to return to school in some places.

Educational institutions should organise psychological counselling activities, increase physical activity, educate skills, consolidate and compensate for knowledge before teaching new knowledge, and group students to provide the most effective support, on the first day of students returning to school.

Notably, the Ministry of Education and Training also requested localities to urgently hand over the requisitioned facilities of educational institutions in their localities, and repair damage if any, to ensure safe use; and at the same time, pay attention to and direct educational institutions to clean and disinfect classrooms before sending students to school.

In particular, the National Economics University said that it will organise centralised learning at the school for students and trainees from February 14. All students, when returning to concentrated study, must receive at least 2 doses of the vaccine.

Students outside Hanoi must provide a negative result from a rapid test (within 24 hours) or RT-PCR test (within 72 hours) when returning to school. When students return to school, they must strictly comply with regulations on prevention and control of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Hanoi Open University has activated the "Inn Bank" system to maximize support for students to find suitable accommodation when they return to study directly at the school from February 14.
