Student of Thai Thuan Highschool wins consolation prize at National Young Informatics Contest

(BGO) – The 28th National Young Informatics Contest in 2022 wrapped up on August 21 in Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province). It was co-hosted by Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Computer Association with the participation of 170 candidates to the final.

Concluding the contest, the Organization Board awarded 5 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 79 consolation prizes.

Kim Nhat Hoang, student in class 11A9 of Thai Thuan Highschool (Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) won consolation prize at group C2 for highschool student. Hoang was one of 8 best candidates to enter final round of group C2.

At the event, 6 candidates from Bac Giang province attended the contest in group A (primary school), group B (secondary school), group C1 (high school for the gifted) and group C2 (high school).

It is a useful playground encouraging students to compete in studying; enhance informatics knowledge, digital capability to develop high quality human resource and serve digital transformation and national development.
