The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2020 is launched in July and August with the participation from 5 youth volunteer groups, including Assistance in Exam Season, Green Summer, Red Flamboyant, Green Match, Pink Vacation.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tu Minh Hai hands over the flag to the Secretary of the provincial Youth Union Nguy Van Tuyen to launch the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2020.

To have the sources for operation, the provincial Youth Union supported 75 million VND (3,200 USD) to the groups and instructed them to implement various chains of voluntary activities with quality and efficiency.

The groups of voluntary youth target to consult 15,000 students, present 500 gift packages to impoverished students, establish 500 quick response teams to help zone off the traffic route to ensure the order.

The group “Pink Vacation” provides health examination and consultation to 6,000 residents; 1,000 voluntary man dates to handle the administrative procedures and legal consultation while supporting the technical and science delivery to 2,000 rural youth members.

Other groups conduct tasks to beautify and clean up 217 martyr cemetaries; support 5,000 man dates to help the difficult policy families; organize 2,000 summer activities to the children and teenagers...

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Secretary of the provincial Youth Union Nguy Van Tuyen said this year campaign is implemented suitably and effectively to the local actual situation with most of the formalities reduced.

The youth members of local military units clean up the canal in Xuan Phu commune (Yen Dung district).

Apart from implementing the youth projects and tasks, all levels of youth union registered and conducted voluntary projects to party change the awareness and absolutely handle the specific issues in the society.

After the launching ceremony, the youth members joined hands in project “For A Green Nham Bien” to clean up the environment, prepare the condition to grow 1,000 trees, dredge the canal and install the visual communication about environment protection, new rural building in Xuan Phu commune.

Besides, the parties handed over the expenses to repair the “Humanitarian house” to family of Bui Quang Duoc who live in difficult circumstance in Phuong Son village, Nham Bien town. Meanwhile, the young doctors and nurses provided free health examination and medicine to 200 older persons in Tan An town...
