Since early this year, the whole has dealt with the acute respiratory disease caused by novel coronavirus in China. together with the levels and sectors, the youth unions in the province have selected the specific and practical tasks to implement to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic.

The youth union in Dinh Ke ward (Bac Giang city) and Hanoi – Bac Giang Hospital organize free health examination for the old pioneer volunteers.

Basing on the instruction from the higher level Youth Union, each unit has timely implemented several projects and tasks that suit the practical situation of the local political duty.

Typically, the district youth union in Yen Dung and Luc Nam districts started to build the humanitarian house; youth union in Lang Giang district instructed many grass root units to launch “Volunteer Saturday” to handle the administration procedure for the local residents; the youth union in Bac Giang city registered and launched several movements like “Two good deeds”, “Green family”, “Green office”...

Besides, several youth unions in the province realized the practical and meaningful youth projects and tasks following Uncle Ho such as Dong Lac communal youth union (Yen The district) which consulted the district Party Committee to install pano to communicate the late President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

According to the Secretary of Dong Lac communal youth union Le Thi Thanh Bac, the unit has coordinated with the youth in the district electricity sector to support to install the living power to 6 difficult families in the area with total cost of 12 million VND (512 USD) and drawing the participation from 14 youth members.

The small tasks have been done the the youth to prove their pioneer role in social welfare and community. It was the third projects done by Dong Lac communal youth union in 2020.

Additionally, Ngoc Chau communal youth union in Tan Yen district built and labelled the project of the youth follows Uncle Ho’s teachings at the children entertainment place in the cultural house of Trai Moi village.

The project was cost 11 million VND and built in an area of 70 square meters including 6 equipment such as seesaw, swing, balancing tool, 100 tyres to make surrounding wall and 12 tyres to grow flowers and trees in the corners...

The project was constructed in 15 days with the participation of 18 youth union. The active members called for the socialization sources to donate the recycle materials (tyre, iron, steel,metal sheet) to realize the meaningful project, helping bring the joy for the local kids.

Besides, the youth has launched several activities such as presenting the face masks to prevent the pandemic, handling the necessary tools for the members of Covid-19 inspection teams.

Amid the pandemic complicated development, the helpful activities of the provincial youth prove for the activeness, pioneer spirit and creative thinking in implementing the suitable tasks to the actual situation in each locality.

(BGO) – After selection and judge, 82 out of more than 200 outstanding youth union officials and members nationwide were honored to receive Ly Tu Trong award in 2020. Duong Van Thang (born in 1985), Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) in Cam Ly High School (Luc Nam district) is the only one face in Bac Giang province to receive the award.
