(BGO) – The Executive Board of Farmer Support Fund (under the Farmer’s Association in Bac Giang province) has disbursed 3.4 billion VND (145,800 USD) from the budget consigned by the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and province to 7 production projects.

They include the projects to cultivate Dien pomelo in Huong Mai commune (Viet Yen district); to cultivate bonsai peach in Dinh Tri commune (Bac Giang city); to raise commodity chicken in Dan Hoi commune (Luc Nam district); to breed cow in Huong Gian commune (Yen Dung district); to develop fishery in Ngoc Thien commune (Tan Yen district); to breed sows in Xuong Lam commune (Lang Giang district) and Quang Minh commune (Viet Yen district).

66 members of the farmers’ association have participated in the projects. Each household is provided with a preferential loan of 50 million VND (2,100 USD) for two to three years with the monthly interest rate of 0.7 percent.
From now on to this year-end, the provincial Executive Board of Farmer Support Fund will disburse the budget to 6 more production projects, helping its members develop their family economy via breeding and growing.
