Tay Yen Tu festival, Bac Giang Culture and Tourism Week slated for early 2019

(BGO) – Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) on November 6 chaired a meeting to implement the preparation for the Bac Giang Culture and Tourism Week, Tay Yen Tu festival in 2019  as well as the idea of musical film production about Bac Giang proposed by Muoi Duyen enterprise.

At the meeting, the representatives addressed their comments to build the organization agenda and scheme of the provincial Culture and Tourism Week and Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival in 2019 which are scheduled on January 12 – 14 (Lunar Calendar).

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired and consulted on the plan and scheme of the Culture and Tourism Week while Son Dong district People’s Committee presented the draft organization plan of Tay Yen Tu festival at the district level. Accordingly, various activities in the field of culture, sports and tourism will be held at the festival such as contest of beauty ethnic costume, traditional art festival, product exhibition, photo contest about Bac Giang.

Additionally, writer Suong Nguyet Minh and representative of Muoi Duyen enterprise presented their idea of musical film production about Bac Giang’s land and people, proposing to select 9 to 12 old and new songs like Tam ao chien si me va nam xua, Ho tren nui, Phieu dieu Son Dong, Mua tram xanh among others so as to promote the local culture, people and tourism.

After listening to the draft organization plans of two events, PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong recommended the representatives to further research and propose a thorough theme and message of the provincial Culture and Tourism Week that should be highlighted in some localities with imprint of Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong (mostly in three districts of Yen Dung, Luc Nam and Son Dong).

Meanwhile, the cultural and art activities must demonstrate to the special cultural identities of 7 relatives ethnics in the province. The opening ceremonies of two events will be held on the same date with both ritual and festive part or suitable art form performed briefly.

Vice Chairman Duong also encouraged the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism inviting the travel agencies to organize sightseeing tours so as to discover the relics and landscapes in Bac Giang province.

Whereas, other departments, sectors, districts and relevant agencies were urged to keep researching to give further comments on the organization plan, agenda and scheme for two important events about the provincial culture and tourism in 2019.
