Tourism exhibition promoting cultural heritages from across Vietnam held in Hanoi

A tourism exhibition promoting cultural heritages from across Vietnam kicked off at the Vietnamese Culture and Arts Exhibition Center, No.2 Hoa Lu Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, on November 19, as a part of activities to mark the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

The exhibition is an important cultural and tourism event, aiming to introduce, promote and honour heritage values along with the unique culture, nature and landscapes of Vietnam, especially cultural heritages recognised by UNESCO.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

Through the tangible and intangible cultural heritages, natural landscapes, historical sites, customs and traditions, cultural characteristics of the nation, the exhibition help visitors to gain a better understanding the Vietnamese country and people. The event contributes to effective promotion of cultural heritage, promotes tourism development, and raise awareness of the community to join hands in preserving the cultural heritage of the nation.

The event is taking place from November 19 to 23 with many activities such as exhibitions, cultural and art exchanges and talkshows.

At the same time, provinces and cities will introduce and promote tourism potentials, tourism products associated with the value of the local cultural heritage, through models, artifacts, images, videos, installation arts, publications, costumes, performing arts, cuisine, local specialties and traditional craft demonstrations at the exhibition area, and exchanges with artisans.
