Tourism sites and areas in Bac Giang province sprayed with disinfectant to prevent nCoV epidemic

(BGO) – Currently, most of the relic sites and spiritual tourism areas in the northern province of Bac Giang have been sprayed with disinfectant to prevent the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism requested the People’s Committee in the districts and city to instruct the competent agencies to coordinate with the the relic management board to enhance the communication on the disease prevention and control; restrict to organize crowded activities; ensure the conditions of disease prevention and control in line with the instruction of the Ministry of Health.

Tourists with face mask visit Vinh Nghiem pagoda to avoid the disease infection.

The people are requested to wear face mask when joining activities at the tourism sites.

Among the nCoV complicated situation, the number of tourists at the local destinations declined 40 – 80 percent comparing to the spring occasion last year.

Few people visit Bo Da pagoda (Viet Yen district).

Particularly, from January 15 onward, only 6,000 tourist arrivals visited Suoi Mo Ecological Tourism Site, down 40 percent while Bo Da pagoda attracts only 100 visitors and Vinh Nghiem pagoda draws dozens of guest on a daily basis.
