Various activities launched in Workers’ Month
The Club of Doctors and Friends (Hanoi city) joined hand with the Club of Young Doctor in the Medical Center in Yen Dung district to organize health examination and present the medicine to nearly 1,000 older persons and policy beneficial families in Xuan Phu commune (Yen Dung district).
The doctors from the Club of Young Doctor in the Bac Giang provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital provide the medical examination and health consultation to the youth labors in Tien Luc Garment Joint Stock Company (Lang Giang district). |
The programme was implemented with a total cost of about 100 million VND (4,300 USD) mobilized from the donation from several organizations, enterprises and kind-hearted pharmacist.
The action aims at enhancing the healthcare task for youth labor at the provincial Industrial Parks.
Additionally, the provincial Labor Confederation has held a conference to popularise the law to the workers as one of the activities in the Workers’ Month in 2019 under the theme of “Each grassroots trade union attaches to a member’s benefit”.
200 trade unionists in Sungwoo Vina Company Limited (in Dinh Tram Industrial Park) were consulted by the reporters of the Law Consultation Office (under the provincial Labor Confederation) and Social Insurance in Viet Yen district about new policies of the laws of Social Insurance, Labor and Trade Union.
Also, they were provided with several leaflets about the labor contract; policies on salary and job; regulations on labor safety, beneficial policies on workplace accident and occupational diseases; procedures about labor safety and employers benefit from workplace accident and occupational diseases; procedures and formalities to receive the unemployment insurance as well as the policies for illness and perinatal periods.
Besides, the labors were supplied with information about legal regulations relating to prevent the drug, cigarette as well as transport safety and environmental protection.
