Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific add 120,000 seats for New Year holiday

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget carrier Jetstar Pacific have announced that between now and January 2, 2019, they will add nearly 120,000 seats on domestic flights serving increasing demand during the Calendar New Year holiday.

Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines has planned close to 54,000 extra seats, while Jetstar Pacific will add nearly 93,000 seats.

The seats will be added mainly to high demand routes such as Hanoi to/from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang
During this high season, passengers are advised to get tickets from official websites, agents and booking offices, use online and kiosk check-in services, and follow baggage regulations.
Domestic airlines are estimated to carry more than 50 million passengers during 2018, up 14 percent from the previous year.
