Vietnam sports delegation departs for 2025 Asian Winter Games
The Vietnam sports delegation participating in the 2025 Asian Winter Games consists of three members including head of the delegation Ngo Quang Vinh (Vice President of the Skating Federation of Vietnam), coach Nguyen Vo Huu Vinh, and athlete Duong Truong Lap.
The 2025 Asian Winter Games will take place in Harbin, China, from February 7 to 14, featuring six sports, 11 disciplines, and 64 events.

The Games will feature the participation of 34 delegations from countries and territories across Asia, with more than 1,200 athletes competing. Vietnam will participate in the speed skating event.

The athletes will compete for nine medals in the speed skating event at the Games from February 7 to 9.
According to the registration, Truong Lap will compete in three events: the 500m, 1,000m, and 1,500m Short Track Speed Skating (men's individual). This marks his first appearance at this competition, carrying the ambition to showcase the potential of Vietnamese winter sports.
