Vietnamese, Cambodian provinces enhance youth’s cooperation

The Vietnam Youth Federation’s chapter of the southern province of Tay Ninh signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation with the youth federations of Cambodia’s Tboung Khmum and Svay Rieng provinces on March 15.

Accordingly, they agreed to boost sharing experience in and knowledge about agricultural and industrial development, and vocational training for young people. They will also support each other in carrying out voluntary activities and social work.

Additionally, sports exchanges will also be increased between young people of Tay Ninh and the two Cambodian provinces.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh People’s Committee Tran Van Chien pledged to create the best possible conditions for the youth federations of the three provinces to bring into play their role in contributing to peace and prosperity in border areas of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Long Them, Deputy Governor of Tboung Khmum province, said the memoranda show the increasingly strengthened friendship between the two countries. Both sides have set up strong win-win relations to help promote economic development and social security in their joint border areas.

Tay Ninh shares over 240km of borderline with Tboung Khmum, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces of Cambodia.

137 youths nominated for Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Award 2018
