Vietnamese team advance to Dota 2 esports World Championship final
The team won three out of four matches in the group stage, beating rivals from the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
The five-member team faced Myanmar, who also had a 3-1 record, in the best-of-three-games grand final on November 10, to decide the winner. But 496 Gaming won 2-0, finishing the first game in 35 minutes and the second one even faster.

In the global final in Eilat, Israel, from December 6 to 12 they will compete in a LAN setting against the top 10 teams from Europe, Central, South and East Asia, South, North and Central America, South Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa.
The event organized by the International Esports Federation will have three disciplines - football simulation video game Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), 1:1 fighting game Tekken 7 and multiplayer online battle arena video game Dota 2.
The 2019 championship was held in Seoul, South Korea, where Sweden won the gold medal in Dota 2 and Thailand and Finland the silver and bronze.
Japan finished eighth in Dota 2 but won the championship by winning the most medals after finishing second in both e-football PES 2020 and Tekken 7.
