Vietnam’s tourism potential highlighted in Ukraine

A seminar featuring Vietnam’s tourism potential has taken place in Kiev, Ukraine, attracting nearly 200 guests from Ukrainian travel agencies. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony on March 14, Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Anh Tuan briefed participants about Vietnam’s country, people, multi-racial culture and tourism potential.

He said Vietnam is attractive to foreign visitors worldwide and those from Ukraine in particular thanks to its popular scenic spots, beautiful beaches and tropical climate.

Vietnam is also well-known for its diverse culture, hospitable people and improving tourist services, he said. However, young Ukrainian generations have yet to learn much about the Asian country so that the embassy decided to hold the event.

A representative from Ukraine’s Travel Professional Group (TPG) presented in details Vietnam’s popular destinations and tourist services.

Co-hosted by the Vietnamese embassy in Ukraine, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TPG, the event aimed to promote bilateral tourism cooperation, thus tightening friendship and comprehensive partnership between the two nations.

Hanoi targets sustainable tourism development
Price of Travel has named Hanoi as the cheapest Asian city for backpackers, which, the tourism price index website, said gets high marks from most visitors. 
 
Vietnamese central localities promote tourism to Germans
Da Nang city and Thua Thien – Hue and Quang Nam provinces will coordinate with the Vietnam General Department of Tourism to promote tourism at the 2019 International Tourism Exchange in Berlin (ITB), Germany, from March 6-10.
 
Community tourism piloted in Luc Ngan
(BGO) – To promote the advantage of the fruit cultivating area, Luc Ngan district in Bac Giang province has selected Hoa Quang hamlet in Tan Moc commune and Gianh Moi hamlet in Quy Son commune to invest and support in piloting the community tourism model in the key fruit region, including citrus and lychee trees. 
 
Eco-tourism site to be developed in U Minh Ha National Park
More than 1,300ha of U Minh Ha National Park in the southernmost province of Ca Mau will be zoned for an eco-tourism site from now to 2025.
 
Bac Giang invests nearly 30 billion VND in tourism development
(BGO) – The Department of Planning and Investment in the northern province of Bac Giang has reported that nearly 30 billion VND (over 1.2 million USD) will be invested in the infrastructure and ecology for local tourism development in 2019.
